Traffic Manager

We are looking for an organized, reliable, hard-working, and detail-oriented Traffic Manager, based in our Ad Operations team in NYC to help us grow our exciting new Podcast Operations business from the ground up. You will ensure that our Podcast Ad Sales operations run smoothly, and implement all ad campaigns across various platforms (online, mobile, and connected devices) and supply channels (direct-sold, programmatic guaranteed, private marketplace).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: creative QA, Ad Trafficking, 3rd party vendor certification, live campaign optimization, troubleshooting support, and reporting. You will work closely with the Podcast, Sales Planning and Client Service Management teams. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music and podcasts.

What you’ll do

  • Traffic, QA, and monitor advertising campaigns running in Spotify content for brand advertisers
  • Work closely with Client Services, Ad production, and Engineering teams to obtain and insert creatives.
  • Troubleshoot any ad creative issues that impact 3P tracking, implementation, billing, or reporting
  • Create reports to monitor campaign delivery and to communicate relevant metrics
  • Regularly monitor and reconcile campaign delivery across third party ad serving and internal systems
  • Ensure campaigns are implemented according to client specifications and deliver all revenue in full
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Planners to recommend campaign optimizations, leveraging an understanding of advertiser KPIs and product performance
  • Help to develop strategic efficiencies surrounding Podcast Operations
  • Work from our office in NYC

Who you are

  • You have 1-2+ years of digital ad trafficking experience
  • Experience trafficking in Megaphone; experience with DFP is a plus
  • You have an understanding of HTML, Javascript, and other ad serving technologies
  • You have keen attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • You are results-driven with strong analytical skills
  • You are able to multitask in a dynamic and energetic environment
  • You are proactive and efficient with your time management
  • You build strong relationships across other teams
  • You are eager to hone your skills, grow your expertise, and help us continue to build an extraordinary Ad sales team
  • You love music and podcasts
