Technical Lead – Premium Partnerships

We are looking for a technical partner support person, who will join our team spread across the globe, and help manage Spotify’s important Premium Partnerships projects. You will have the operational and day-to-day responsibility to manage the technical performance of the partnerships. You will report directly to the Premium Partnerships Operations Technical Lead.

This position is a 9 month cover for a parental leave.

What you’ll do 

For this specific position we are looking for someone to keep an eye of our partners around the world. For example you will be looking at the daily performance profile generated by our monitoring tools, and solve these alerts directly with our partners. In this role we are also looking for someone to help with the development of our external partner portal. 

  • Assist our Technical Leads with the day-to-day performance of partners.

  • Document all actions with partners for keeping track of changes.

  • Keep discussions with the partner on any changes needed for who they are implemented today.

  • Ensure that Spotify’s commitments in a partner relationship are delivered, as well as follow-up on the partner’s commitments.

  • Coordinate with Spotify’s Technical Leads and Deal Managers if partner changes are needed.

  • Build out our partner portals functionality with more features; such as, fetching backend data and publish as graphs on Salesforce community Cloud.

Who you are 

You have documented working experience within a Telecom, Internet Start-up, Media, or the digital music industry. A technology background with a project and/or product focus with documented track record is preferable. You never forget that the most important task is to ensure an overall great end user experience. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar knowledge
  • A self-going can do attitude, you won’t be afraid to step in when needed.
  • You understand that cooperation and team play is key to success!
  • Strong presentation skills. Proven success in working directly with partners.
  • A strong track record in technical leadership, explaining both to technical and business people.
  • Experience working under deadlines and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willing to travel to all corners of the world.

Experience of the following technologies

  • HTTP REST APIs

  • SQL and Big data analytics such as BigQuery

  • Salesforce developer experience using Apex and Community Cloud

  • Experience in writing software in one or more languages such as Java or Python is preferred

  • Linux and shell scripts

  • DNS, TCP, firewalls, database systems
