Talent Acquisition (TA) Team Lead

As a Talent Acquisition Team Lead with Spotify, you will lead, guide and coach a team of recruiters, sourcers and coordinators to deliver the needs of the business while growing the core of organizational capability, implementing tools for greater efficiency/effectiveness and maintaining compliance.

Through strong collaboration with counterparts and HR business partners, the ideal candidate for this position will have responsibility for building, implementing, and executing a recruitment philosophy and strategy on a global scale. ‚ÄčThis position reports into the Global TA Business Unit Lead and can be based in New York City, Stockholm or Boston.

What you’ll do

  • Provide operational day-to-day leadership for a team of recruitment professionals, and act as a strong role model, providing mentorship and development for growth.

  • Create, organize, and implement strategic recruitment plans, and support initiatives to build the overall talent acquisition process and quality of hiring worldwide.

  • Develop and implement workforce planning and prioritization methodology for short vs. long-term talent needs.

  • Drive and facilitate prioritization of the Business Units hiring needs:

    • Forecasting of TA delivery and flagging if we risk missing our targets.

    • Gathering feedback from the business on hiring to continuously improve the process.

    • Package and present relevant reports & analytics to the business on a regular basis.

    • Own Workday data for open requisitions. (Skills, location, priority and forecasted

      start date)

  • Given business demand and team capacity, Team Leads will also support full life-cycle recruiting for select positions.

  • Attend relevant business related offsites and meetings as needed.

    Who you are

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Demonstrated success as an in-house corporate talent team leader and/or a senior recruiter including the execution of talent searches of tech talent.

  • Experience implementing workforce planning and global recruiting programs.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with metrics, numbers and trends.

  • Adept at influencing through strong relationships, expertise and data.

  • Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders.

  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to take the initiative and build strong, productive relationships; an ability to identify and galvanize a complex web of relationships and dependencies to holistically solve problems and seize opportunities.
