Talent Acquisition Manager – Campus Recruiting

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager to join our team in New York, focusing on leading the campus recruiting & early career development programs for the Americas. Through key creative and diverse strategies, you will be responsible for bringing in the right talent for Spotify’s early career & pipeline development initiatives.

What you’ll do

People & Relationship Management:

  • Lead, coach and mentor the campus recruiting team (2 direct reports) for the Americas, and partner with colleagues for the broader Americas TA Leadership Team
  • Educate and help the business to plan their growth in a realistic way with the support of data
  • Be the trusted advisor for the global Recruiting area to hiring managers and all hiring partners
  • Support the Head of Global TA in strategic discussions around growth plans, competitor mapping and talent driven acquisitions
  • Be a natural first choice speaking partner to important stakeholders within HR as well as within the organisations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal HR Management, senior leaders, hiring managers, and other key partners
  • Ensure proper visibility of Campus Recruiting team and analyst programs with senior leadership — on-campus, external relations and internal partners

Campus Recruiting & Program Management:

  • Identify hiring trends, market insights + analysis, and communicate this to senior leaders to help craft growth
  • Maintain & iterate on junior talent pipeline strategy for all education levels and all disciplines
  • Lead & execute strategy for talent attraction events for students & early career professionals
  • Develop & execute diversity recruiting strategies that effectively attraction & hire early career individuals from underrepresented communities
  • Lead the team that is responsible for program management & learning paths for development programs (i.e.: multi-year rotational program, fellowship programs, summer internship programs, thesis/co-op programs, & academic relations, etc.)

Who you are

  • You have at least 4 years of recruiting management experience, preferably leading a campus recruiting/university relations team
  • You have experience developing & leading pipeline development programs (student & full-time programs)
  • You have experience in leading external relationships & participating in key speaking engagements
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with professionals at all levels, both internally and externally
  • You are super organized with an eye for detail
  • You are flexible and comfortable dealing with frequent changes
  • You possess a solid sense of urgency, high emotional intelligence, and intuition
  • You are a fast learner, curious, enthusiastic and always willing to step up to help the team
  • You are passionate about the chance to create an impact/difference in the lives of the next generation of Spotify talent
