Hey, here's your chance to spend your summer as a Spotify intern and become an integrated member of one of our teams. When the fall comes, this gig might turn into a permanent position, given that you’ve already graduated. 

 

For the Summer of 2020 we are among others looking for interns in these areas below. Please note that we might have more than one role within each area within multiple teams.

OUR ROLES WITHIN FINANCE & LEGAL – STOCKHOLM

 

FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS – R&D

We are looking for an outstanding Financial Planning & Analyst Intern to join our Consumer FP&A team in Stockholm. You will support FP&A for Consumer – a key organization that develops and maintains Spotify's consumer facing products, holds most of the R&D workforce and all of the technical infrastructure.. You will contribute to the team's work with tasks such as researching and creating reliable data pipelines, maintaining, developing ML services, training and testing ML models and more. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences audio. 

Courses: Finance, Accounting, Statistics
Skills: Excel (Google Sheets), PowerPoint (Google Slides), SQL is a plus, analytic mindset, detail-oriented.

PREMIUM CONVERSION STATISTICS 

We are looking for a Statistics Intern to join our Premium Conversion Optimization Team. PCO sits within the bigger Premium organisation that is responsible for acquiring, retaining & upgrading new & free users into one of our premium propositions (Premium, Student, Duo, Family or our Bundles). PCO´s main responsibility is optimizing the different premium conversion funnels on the web, from Landing page until the thank you pages. As an Intern in this team you will mainly focus on improving our statistics models that we use for experimentation for our different platforms.

Courses: Finance, Business, Statistics or similar
Skills: Probability and especially Bayesian statistics. Google Suite.

LEGAL INTERN – R&D

We are looking for a Legal Intern for our R&D Legal team. As an intern in this team you will primarily assist with and provide legal guidance to the Research & Development (R&D) teams as they innovate, build and partner through all stages of the product development, technology procurement and deployment process. Among other things the work will include ensuring Spotify’s products are compliant with international laws and regulations relating to consumer protection, data protection, security, content and intellectual property. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences audio.

 

Courses: Law degree
Skills: Legal skills, google Suite. Verbal & written communication

THE INTERN GIG

 

This isn't just any internship! Our paid internship program will last for 12-13 weeks next summer starting in the middle of June, and you'll get a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it's like to be a Spotify employee.

 

For the Program we’re looking for enthusiastic students/recent graduates with a passion for audio and an ambition to go far, just like us. You should be at the end of your studies, graduating latest Summer 2021 or recently graduated from your studies. To be eligible for our internships you need to be based in the location of the internship, e.g. Sweden for a Stockholm based internship.
 

Make sure attach your CV and Cover letter in English and specify what Intern role you’re interested in, in the application form. We will then match you with the best Intern role based on your interest and skill-set. 

 

The deadline to apply is December 1st, 2019 at 11:59 PM CET.. You can expect the following application timeline:

  • Late December, 2019 – Mid January, 2020: Application Review
  • Late January, 2020 – March, 2020: Interviews
  • February, 2020 – April, 2020: Offers given out
  • 10 June, 2020: Intern program start
