Social Artist Marketing Lead

Spotify is looking for a social artist marketing and original content campaign lead to work across all its social media projects. This rockstar will drive digital social strategy for Spotify for a variety of artist and content related projects, tests, and markets. This leader will work in close collaboration with other Spotify internal teams (i.e. Content, Revenue, Product) to build integrated digital programs and ecosystems grounded in social, designed to drive brand affinity, new users and overall active usage of Spotify. The role will help shape social strategy and build a social content syndication model across all projects they oversee – adapting our global strategy to meet project needs. The ideal candidate has worked at or with global companies and can distill high-level strategies into clear plans and execute against them. Comfortable working inside a global organization and can work across teams and geographies.

What you’ll do:

    • Analyses of social content performance and audience insights to inform longer-term strategic decisions around what kinds of content the team should be distributing and on which social platforms
  • Co-ordinate day-to-day digital and social media activities with other local teams (Marketing, Public Relations, Label Relations, Customer Service, Programming, Content)
  • Identify new technologies and platforms that will support our social ambition
  • Advise on social media integration into business activity
  • Building out a social content creation practice involving paid and earned strategies
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business around new technology and its impact on the business
  • Lead a team to deliver a high volume of artist marketing and content campaigns  

Who you are:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, ever-changing environment
  • A collaborative mind-set and proven track record of influencing peersExperience running technology and web projects as well as deep understanding of social communications channels
  • 5-7 years of experience working on social strategy, either at an agency or client side.
  • Deep understanding of marketing analytics and applying those in the digital space
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of how to work with different teams
  • Has a flexible schedule
  • Adapts easily to new systems
  • Works well under tight deadlines
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Candidate must be open to international travel
  • Photoshop knowledge
