Senior Strategic Planning Lead

Spotify is looking for a Senior Strategic Planning Lead.  The role reports directly into the VP, Global Head of Strategic Partnership and Verticals on the Global Agency and Accounts team. This person would be responsible for leading the development and execution of business critical strategic initiatives across the team, as well as ensuring operational excellence and rigor. This includes strong collaboration with other functional leads across Global Agencies, Global Verticals, Audience Solutions and Trading. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with GAAT leadership to identify strategic project requirements and ensure they align with team’s strategic goals.

  • Launch & manage project workstreams, establish clear objectives, clear timelines and clear success metrics.

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and communicate project needs, expectations and deliverables.

  • Track project progress, prioritize work-streams with other project stakeholders and sponsors and ensure they meet success parameters and goals.

  • Assess, troubleshoot and resolve all high priority project risks and issues as they are encountered.

  • Evaluate project flow and conduct review meetings to keep workstreams on track

  • Publish and share updates in team and broader sales all-hands.

  • Support VP with leadership updates & materials.

  • Maintain and lead the operational cadence of the team (such as meeting content, communication cadences, templatized reporting) and drive consistency across the 4 teams.

  • Meet with internal partner teams at Spotify to understand new opportunities that our team can leverage

Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in field relevant to the role and an understanding of the Global Marketplace.

  • You have experience leading projects across multiple internal and external stakeholders. Experience in project management, management consulting or internal strategy/ops preferred but not essential.

  • You have strong analytical skills and communication skills

  • You are a team player at executive level who is capable of successfully collaborating with functional partners across the GAAT team and the broader business including sales, partner solutions, product, marketing and data

  • You have comfort and familiarity with constructing executive presentations, organizational communications and business cases

  • You have the ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions, regions and at all levels of the organization

  • You are someone who has strong problem solving capabilities and a consultative mindset

  • You are a strategic thinker with the ability to transform goals into actionable plans
