We are looking for a Senior Pricing Specialist to join the Pricing team within Spotify Premium. Your mission will be to help improve and shape our current and future pricing strategy. This is a high impact role for the world’s leading music subscription business. Your work will connect directly with our customers across the globe and drive a real impact on our business. You will work with a diverse group of teams across disciplines such as Analytics, Consumer Research, Business Development, Licensing, Marketing and Product Development.

What you’ll do

  • Create market specific pricing strategies and recommendations
  • Improve our general pricing strategies and principles
  • Study industry trends and best practices
  • Understand and measure consumer preferences
  • Measure the pricing sensitivity of our customers
  • Work together with a team of data scientists to forecast, measure and evaluate price change impact
  • Be a key partner to the business teams within Premium and several other teams across the company
  • Work from our offices in Stockholm (with key stakeholders in Stockholm and New York)

Who you are

  • You have at least 4 years experience of pricing in a business context
  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a Business subject
  • You have a solid understanding of pricing theory
  • You have experience and understanding of best practices within price sensitivity measurement
  • You follow and stay up to date with industry best practises
  • You are a communicative person that values building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and have the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
  • You have a curious mindset and enjoy problem solving, experimenting and continuous learning
  • You have strong numerical skills and are capable of translating data into business insights
  • You have experience of leading projects and driving them to completion
  • You enjoy and have experience of working in an international setting
