Senior Engineering Manager – Platform and Partner Experiences

You will be responsible for a few teams of Engineers and Managers who are tasked with delivering innovative solutions to extend our core mobile experience across multiple contexts and device ecosystems, including native desktop, tablets, web player, automobiles, wearables, televisions, speakers, software integrations, and much more.

What you’ll do

  • You will lead a few engineering teams and their managers and lead the development and delivery of innovative musical experiences on many of the world’s largest platforms
  • You will lead engineering work, ensuring timely delivery of software with high quality
  • You will advocate and implement sustainable best-practices, and develop a technical strategy and have it guide the short and long term plans
  • You will identify and grow leaders within the teams, setting them up for success through mentorship and coaching
  • You will provide context, support and guidance as the team works toward our business objectives — you will inspire, not merely direct
  • You will collaborate closely with your product, insights and design counterparts to efficiently deliver the desired consumer products
  • You will be based in Stockholm, but travel to work with our external partners occasionally

Who you are

  • You have extensive experience leading engineering teams at consumer-focused companies. This should ideally include mentoring and leading managers
  • Well versed in current technologies and practices for building apps that are native to different OSs and Web apps
  • A fantastic communicator. You have the communication skills to help you work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners alike. You thrive when developing great people and great products
  • You have good insight into product and design methodologies and are well-versed in data-informed development
  • You want to make an impact and take on big complex issues
  • You have experience from successful delivery of high-quality consumer experiences
