Project Manager – Hardware

We are looking for a passionate and seasoned Project Manager that will contribute in the creation of innovative Spotify experiences via connected hardware. You will manage the overall program execution for internet-connected cars and work with suppliers to deliver the optimal Spotify experience to millions of users. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

What you’ll do

  • Drive the program; product development with a team of world-class Spotify engineers and designers, contractors, manufacturing suppliers etc.

  • Clearly define, manage, communicate and follow up project plans to secure results.

  • Work directly with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure delivery of the optimal Spotify experience

  • Deeply understand Spotify’s mission and strategies, manage product vision for the cross-functional team, set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals

  • Work from our office in Stockholm, Sweden interfacing partners globally.

Who you are

  • You have significant program/project management experience working closely with hardware and software development operating at a global scale

  • You have a deep understanding of product development on customized hardware platforms and working directly with hardware OEMs, ODMs and suppliers.

  • You get stuff done!  As demonstrated by working as a program manager in high performing teams that have built, deployed, and iterated-on mass-market hardware or software applications.

  • You have excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical understanding

  • You are experienced with agile methodology and data-informed product development

  • You have exceptional communication and presentation skills; storytelling; ability to speak fluently to business people, partners and engineers.

  • You’re driven, but you’re also a gifted diplomat who can influence cross-functional teams without wielding formal authority.
