Product Marketing Lead

Mission: Develop product-focused growth strategies for target audiences. Partner with R&D and marketing teams to ensure product-market fit and successful marketing execution of Product Marketing campaigns that drive growth.

What you’ll do

  • Lead a small team focused on audience-led product marketing initiatives
  • Lead proposition development for key growth audiences, leveraging insights and data to understand the most important features to communicate to drive acquisition or retention
  • Build and execute testing frameworks to validate and optimize product marketing programs
  • Work in collaboration with R&D to identify feature-gaps for key audiences
  • Support Global campaigns which feature products – providing insight and expertise, ensuring the optimal messaging for impact
  • Work in collaboration with our regional teams, to develop local product marketing programs in existing or new markets
  • Build strong relationships with key product teams within Spotify
  • Manage a wide range of stakeholders, across Product and Marketing – ensuring coordination and consistent narratives

Who you are

  • 8 + years in a marketing or product role within innovative technology, media or music organization
  • Passion for creating products and experiences that truly meet the needs of different consumers
  • Cross-functional leader – able to build influence and impact across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong communicator both internally and externally
  • Strategic thinker – able to tackle complex problems, combining insights and expertise to  build actionable strategic initiatives with global impact
  • Excels at building strong partnerships with both product and marketing teams
  • Evangelist for the role of product marketing across the organization – sharing impact and building a reputation for expertise
  • Ability to drive alignment across multiple teams and BUs
  • Ability to establish team goals and ensure alignment and measurement towards them
  • Mentor and coach the broader members of the PMM team
