We are looking for a strategic product manager to partner with our Business Development teams to help craft partnership opportunities to yield both partner and Spotify success. Early in the process of deal negotiation we need a strong product mindset to understand and help shape the opportunity before it reaches our internal development teams – evaluating questions around user experience, level of effort, strategic fit, scalability and impact.

What you’ll do

  • You will work closely with our Premium Business Development Teams to bring Product Development thinking and expertise to our 3rd party partnership activity early on in the process

  • You will develop and own product strategy for key partnership initiatives from scratch, through to delivery and beyond

  • You will work collaboratively to ensure solutions we bring to market are feasible, usable, scalable and valuable

  • You will participate and sometimes lead ideation workshops with cross-functional teams to develop ideas into workable product concepts

  • You will turn these concepts into functional requirements in concert with internal development teams  

  • You will act as Product Owner for these strategic initiatives, representing them to all stakeholders within and outside the org

  • You will work collaboratively with Tech, Design, Product Insights and Business teams to drive partnerships to success

  • You will be based in Stockholm, but travel as required to do the work effectively

  • You will actively engage directly with local and regional partner leads and, from time to time, with partners themselves to help inform your product decisions

Who you are

  • You have a few years of experience within consumer-focused product management

  • You are a strategic thinker who can craft a strong product vision and strategy from scratch

  • You’re a fantastic communicator and diplomat. You have the communication skills to help you work cross-functionally with business stakeholders. You thrive when developing great inter-personal relationships AND great products

  • You have an ego-less approach and put yourself in service of the team’s success, always

  • You want to make an impact and tackle big complex issues
