People Experience Lead, EMEA & APAC – Stockholm

We are seeking a People Experience (Px) Lead to work at Spotify’s HR department within the People Experience team.

The Px team is focused on running initiatives that showcase our employer brand, differentiate Spotify as a workplace, and enable Spotifiers to feel included and excited about life at Spotify.
The successful candidate will manage global employer branding projects, including the strategy of social events for employees in our Stockholm and UK offices, that:

  • Bring employees together 

  • Create opportunities for improving health and well-being of employees 

  • Ensure music is a part of everyday life at Spotify 

  • Support Spotifiers with families 


What you’ll do

  • You’ll manage two team members (Px Specialist for Stockholm, the Px Specialist for UK), working with them to plan and deliver internal events and social activities

  • You will support our volunteer social events coordinators from offices across Europe and Asia Pacific

  • Collaborate with the Global Workplace Services team to help build out new office spaces that reflect our employer brand and are suitably set up to deliver our schedule of events

  • Nurture the events and engagement strategy across our campus of offices as we continue to grow

  • Work with our marketing and content teams in EMEA and APAC to increase collaborations, and at the minimum book and manage 2-4 office sessions a month

  • Partner with other Px team members to create and manage a timeline of content that delivers on the objectives set out in our social media strategy.

  • Project manage a program of family events for the Stockholm office

  • Further develop music-related activities for employees

  • Ideation and project management for a number of initiatives in line with our EVP

  • Share responsibility across the team to manage and deliver events

  • You will be based in the Stockholm office, reporting into the Global Head of Px

Who you are

  • A senior marketing communications professional with a focus on event planning, or a senior event planner with a background in marketing and communications

  • Knowledge and experience of branding (consumer or employer) and good grasp of marketing theory

  • Experience in planning and producing both small events and events with up to 1,500 attendees, solving unforeseen situations as they arise in a calm manner

  • Practiced in managing event agencies and used to working with external partners as an extension of an internal team

  • Experience working with music industry professionals and hospitality sector

  • Self-starter, able to work inline with a bigger strategic picture coupled with 
attention to smaller details

  • Ability to proactively push projects forward independently


  • Highly social, friendly and playful, with a can-do attitude, high energy levels and the ability to innovate and work creatively

  • Willing to work at events (evenings and weekends are required)

  • Good level of written and spoken English

  • Keen attention to detail and highly organised
