Our Roles Within ML & Data

For the Summer of 2019 we are among others looking for interns in these areas below. Please note that we might have more than one role within each area within multiple teams.

Machine Learning

We are looking for Machine Learning Engineering Interns to help drive a data-driven culture across Spotify. You will apply machine learning methods to massive data sets to extend and enhance Spotify’s means of understanding and engaging users across various contexts and modalities. Build upon Spotify’s deep understanding of our content, users, and artists to develop rich analytics, engagement, and business applications.

Data Engineering

We are looking for interns who are enthusiastic about data to focus on building structured, high-quality data solutions which we use to evolve our products and bring better music and digital media experiences to our 140 million users and the global artist community alike. You will design, develop, and test data-driven solutions by working with state-of-the-art data processing frameworks and technologies. Processing on huge datasets and trying to make access to this data as easy as possible for everyone else at Spotify.

The Intern Gig

This isn’t just any internship! Our paid internship program will last for 12 weeks next summer starting in the middle of June, and you’ll get a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it’s like to be a Spotify employee.

For the Program we’re looking for enthusiastic students/recent graduates with a passion for music and an ambition to go far, just like us. You should be at the end of your studies, graduating latest Summer 2020 or recently graduated from your studies.

Make sure attach your CV and Cover letter in English and specify what Intern role you’re interested in, in the application form. We will then match you with the best Intern role based on your interest and skill set.

The deadline to apply is December 3rd, 2018 at 11:59 PM CET. You can expect the following application timeline:

  • Late December, 2018 – Mid January, 2019: Application Review
  • Late January, 2019 – March, 2019: Interviews
  • February, 2019 – April, 2019: Offers given out
  • 10 June, 2019: Intern program start
