We are looking for Legal Interns to #JoinTheBand this summer. The Legal Intern at Spotify will support the team in drafting legal memos, conducting research, assisting with contract drafting and product advisory work, attend legal education and team meetings, and collect facts from the business and technology organization. At Spotify, this team stays on the pulse of all matters affecting the business from a legal perspective.
What you’ll do:
Support the Spotify legal team by drafting legal memos and conducting legal research
Drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising the business on a variety of transactions and product development
Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the legal and business teams to collect facts and contribute to decision making
Who you are:
You have an undergraduate degree with excellent academic credentials and are currently a 1st year J.D. candidate
You are a highly self-motivated individual
You have a demonstrated interest in a wide array of legal issues facing the music, technology and advertising industries
You have excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills with the desire to grow and develop in even more in these areas
You are well-organized with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines, paying meticulous attention to detail
You are highly collaborative who is motivated to work closely with a number of internal stakeholders.
The Intern Gig:
Spotify is looking for enthusiastic students/recent graduates with a passion for music and an ambition to go far. This isn’t just any internship! Our paid internship program will give you the chance to gain in-depth knowledge of what it’s like to be a Spotify employee as well as get the opportunity to see the technology side of a fast growing company! Our summer internships will last for 10 weeks this summer and start in the beginning of June.
