HR Operations Specialist, Japan

Responsibilities

  • Support on-boarding all new Japan employees in collaboration with the global HR team
  • Assist Japan employees in the completion of all statutory social insurance and supplemental insurance forms
  • Provide support on all questions regarding social insurance and supplemental insurance
  • Support employees with payroll tax related questions
  • Act as liaison between external professional service providers in Japan and Spotify
  • Act as liaison between payroll and employee in coordination of new hire forms
  • Serve as HR contact in Tokyo to direct employees to the correct resources
  • Prepare and support all employee w/ work related documents, certificates etc
  • Be the office buddy to all new employees reinforcing the Spotify culture
  • Support other HR related matters as necessary

Experience Required

  • Solid experience in an HR operations position (ideally 3 ~ 5 years)
  • Familiar with the social insurance plan and ability to explain it to others
  • Familiar with how payroll and HR related tax work in Japan
  • Fluent in English as well as Japanese
  • Experience of reporting into an HR function
  • International experience is a plus
