HR Manager – HR Specialist team

We are always on the lookout for new talents to help us achieve our mission. Are you our next band member?We are now looking for a new Manager to our HR Specialist (HRS) team. The Specialist team is organised to provide support based on regions and are experts in local legislation as well as the global Spotify philosophy, meaning they are usually the first point of contact for employees and managers.In this role you will lead a team of HR Specialists (HRS) across the US, UK, Sweden and Singapore and also be accountable for project work and HRS tasks in your home region. You will make sure that we deliver phenomenal regional HR support to our employees across the world and also for the global HR Operations processes.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure that there is appropriate HR support for employees across all locations and that we’re delivering a consistent Spotify experience everywhere
  • Set the focus for global processes improvements for the HRS team to ensure efficiency and scalability
  • Ensure that the global people philosophies, including policies and guidelines, are implemented according to the needs of the business and adapted to local legislation
  • Assess local and global needs and set HRS projects accordingly
  • Represent the HR Department in cross functional projects
  • Deliver trainings as subject matter expert in your region/globally
  • Work with managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues
  • Last but not least, your role is to enable the development of the team members and support them in achieving their individual and team goals

Who you are:

  • You’ve got experience of working within a wide HR role in a global company
  • Your possess skills to help your team grow, develop and innovate
  • You’re a specialist in the labour law of one of our largest locations, such as Sweden, United Kingdom, France or Germany, ideally with an overview of local legislation in multiple markets
  • You have an educational background in HR or behavioural sciences
  • You are solution focused, pragmatic and innovative questioning the status quo
  • You are great at collaborating and stakeholder management
  • You’re able to prioritise and work well in an unstructured environment
  • You have experience of running projects to successful completion
  • You’re willing to travel regularly
