Artist & Label Marketing Coordinator, Australia & New Zealand

The Artist & Label Marketing team at Spotify works to transform the music industry value chain by driving innovative and fruitful partnerships with artists, managers, labels, and internally through Spotify-driven initiatives. Utilizing on-platform promotion and off-platform marketing, the Artist & Label Marketing team sits at the centre of an artist’s campaign on Spotify to build the most engaging experience for our users while staying true to an artist’s creative vision. Alongside building key relationships with external partners, responsibilities encompass work across many of Spotify’s key cross-functional verticals including Marketing, Editorial, Music, Licensing, Sales and others.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist team members with day-to-day tasks and coordinating marketing programs, release schedule planning and activities as requested
  • Communicate and maintain announcements and best practices for ANZ Artist & Label Marketing
  • Organize weekly reports and inbound queries across a variety of work streams
  • Serve as point person for all internal cross-functional departments
  • Assure timely and correct delivery and publishing of new content, resolve any operational matters and monitor the correct implementation of marketing and content plans
  • Plan and implement label and artist educational programs across the region
  • Assist in developing and executing internal and external events
  • Analyze and report on implemented campaigns and programs
  • Able to travel for business needs 10-15% of the time

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Experience with an established digital content service, established record label or major media company is preferred
  • Extremely adept with content management systems and supply chain processes with high-volumes of media
  • Demonstrated project management skills; creating spreadsheets, managing action items, communicating status reports, creating agendas and reporting
  • You are a competent problem solver,  a facilitator and collaborator who is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Analytical and highly organised with attention for detail
  • Professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to craft and deliver executive-level presentations
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in the music industry, marketing, startup, or tech industries
  • Experience in design a bonus
