Advertising Operations Regional Manager, Spotify Ad Sales LATAM

Spotify is seeking a talented Regional Manager to join our LATAM Ad Operations team. This position will function as both player and coach, managing digital campaigns for our LATAM markets and leading a team of traffic managers. Our ideal candidate is an advertising operations expert who strives to deliver top-notch service with a focus on delivery and performance optimization. This role will partner closely with our sales planning and client service manager leads to ensure our ad sales operations run smoothly across all markets. The right candidate is excited to balance their focus between strategic long-term planning and the fast-paced demands of managing live campaigns. The position requires fluency in both verbal and written English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Please submit all resumes in English. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead by example, coach, and mentor our LATAM traffic manager team
  • Ensure campaigns are implemented according to client specifications and deliver all revenue in full
  • Collaborate with sales to recommend campaign optimizations, demonstrating an understanding of advertiser KPIs and product performance
  • Generate regular reports to monitor regional delivery and performance metrics
  • Troubleshoot and triage technical issues to determine impact and scope
  • Facilitate the escalation of ad serving irregularities or issues to our product engineering team
  • Create guidelines, streamline workflow, and enforce policies within the sales process
  • Identify areas of improvement and work collaboratively with internal groups to implement solutions
  • Provide regional market guidance on product rollouts and offerings
  • Support and cultivate team growth by providing consistent and frequent feedback through performance evaluations and one-on-one meetings
  • Work from our office in either Sao Paulo, Brazil or Miami, Florida

Who you are:

  • You have 4+ years digital advertising industry experience; management experience a plus
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of advertising operations and the requirements/resources needed to deliver successful campaigns
  • You have experience in Google’s DFP (or comparable ad-server) and managing campaigns booked through multiple supply channels, including both direct-sold and programmatic
  • You have strong decision-making, planning, and analytical skills, with an ability to identify and prioritize critical issues
  • You have project management and time management skills with an ability to multi-task in a dynamic and energetic environment
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication, with fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish
