Ad Solutions Manager, Canada

We’re looking for a passionate, strategic and creative thinker to take our advertising solutions in Canada to the next level. This multi-faceted, innovative Ad Solutions Manager will work closely with our Ad Sales team and create exciting experiences with the power of Spotify for advertisers across the country. You will be the go to creative consultant to the sales team and work with clients across media and creative agencies to generate memorable experiences that achieve advertiser objectives in the form of long and short term partnerships.Spotify’s Ad Solutions team is spread across the globe working with advertisers and brands globally on custom experiences. You’ll be the go to lead for Canada and work closely with global counterparts to generate experiences that go above and beyond your region.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate creative solutions and collateral materials to assist sales team in RFP responses
  • Proactively ideate solutions for larger advertisers and consult local market teams on media strategies to unlock sizable media dollars for the platform
  • Develop 360 integrated presentations top to bottom and present with Account Director to top tier clients
  • Lead in industry wide education of Spotify’s capabilities to creative agencies and develop relationships with brands through multiple touchpoints (media, creative, broadcast teams etc)
  • Understand and incorporate relevant narratives, data and insights into media strategies and sales collateral
  • Position Spotify’s products to internal sales teams and to the market, maintaining consistency in product marketing messages and accuracy in technical specifications
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to create packages tailored to tentpole events, seasons, audiences and advertiser objectives
  • Work closely with Ad Solutions Managers globally on synergies with advertisers and identify opportunities for global campaigns
  • Present concepts to internal teams and to clients with poise and a solutions-selling approach
  • Produce complex, high-value branded programs with elements including content distribution, media, social extensions, consumer promotions, PR and beyond.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree
  • 4-5 years experience on the agency or publisher side
  • Ability to synthesize information to determine the best positioning for brands on Spotify
  • Demonstrate creativity within platform capabilities and approach presentation building from a design thinking perspective
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple stakeholders, prioritizing deliverables and deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills to small and large groups
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Keynote; basic Photoshop/Illustrator skills
  • Solutions oriented, proactive problem solver who is curious and comfortable with pushing boundaries and getting things done
  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
