Ad Platform Partnerships Manager

Spotify is seeking an Ad Platform Partner Manager for the Revenue Partnerships team. In this role, you’ll help craft the future of Spotify’s advertising business by supporting deals with Ad Tech providers that help us scale & optimize our global advertising business and improve the automated selling opportunity.

What you’ll do

  • Develop detailed understanding of Spotify’s advertising programs to effectively support the Revenue Partnerships

  • Work with business and product development leaders to build and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with long-term objectives

  • Work closely with internal departments like Finance, Accounting, Legal to lead and maintain Partner Accounts

  • Provide effective, articulate and concise updates (written & verbal) to key internal partners & senior execs

Who you are

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of total work experience, with a minimum of 4 years focused in sales, accounting or business development in the Advertising or Ad Tech industry

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics or another related field

  • You have a deep understanding of the online advertising marketplace

  • You are an extraordinary communicator who simplifies complex concepts

  • You have a demonstrated interest in the ad technology ecosystem

  • You have strong verbal interpersonal skills, and written communication with the capability to speak effectively to any audience, including senior executives

  • You have the ability to troubleshoot and research complex payment and contract matters.

  • You have excellent attention to detail, possessing analytical and planning abilities

  • You have the ability to work independently to initiate and maintain relationships, assess partnership viability and growth opportunities, work through long deal cycles, and navigate complex deals

  • You have previous experience partnering with or leading successful partnerships with RTB/exchanges, mobile mediation partners, 3rd party data providers, advertising networks and/or publishers a plus
